Renzo Segato was born in Turin, Italy. He still lives there with his wife and daughter Sara and he works as a dental technician.

As a young boy he dreamt of canoeing on tropical rivers and 1982 he went for his first long trip. The destination was, of course, the Amazon rainforest.

He has travelled all over the world and he has got in contact with many different tribes and peoples in the remote areas. He has photographically documented all these trips and the result is an extraordinary collection of portrays and landscape images.

Lately, when he met his wife, his interest for wildlife photography increased .....

Now they love naturalist trips and hope to see new wild places with baby Sara.
